A proud multiracial mother, Inday Ford is an exciting emerging filmmaker with a strong background in science and research.

In 2018, she successfully pitched SHOOTING CATS for the inaugural VICE Pitch Australiana Initiative at the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC). The film was a critical and commercial success, achieving over 3-million views following its release online VICE, VICE Asia and SBS VICELAND in 2019. Written, directed and filmed by Inday, the 25-minute observational documentary gained substantial media attention, sparking critical debate about the environmental issue in Australia. Inday is an experienced commercial cinematographer, with extensive experience in underwater photography.

With extensive experience in the film distribution industry, most recently with StudioCanal (Australia), Inday has a strong understanding of local, national and international audience trends and the changing distribution landscapes.

She has worked on numerous ocean-based projects including a two-year nautical expedition with the world-renowned scientists Micheline and Curt Jenner from the Centre for Whale Research.
